Back in March, a serial package bomber killed two people and injured five before he took his own life when finally cornered by police. DPS surveillance video captured the final chase and explosion. I don’t think any of the officers were seriously hurt. But I bet the inside of the car was a mess.

Yeah, and bomber guy killed more people. I happen to know Stack’s wife pretty well. She’s a musician. Needless to say, I’ve never asked her about this. But I remember the day well. We saw the smoke from his burning house and drove by to take a look. Then we got home and turned on the TV.
I’ve written about Andrew Stack for Aviation History . It basically boiled down to him interpreting the law one way while the IRS interpreted it another way. And we all know who is going to win that argument, even if Stack did get the last word.

I was at the Best Buy across 183 the day after, with a friend, hadn’t watched last night’
s news and was like “wow, what happened over there?” - it feels like most people don’t remember it (or maybe most people here didn’t live in Austin when it happened).
